I had just replaced a flat tire. Needless to say, my hands were dirty.
My mum got in the car. She was leaving. I said good bye waving. She waved back, then extended her hand. She was going for a handshake. I put up my hands, “see? they’re dirty..”
It didn’t change anything. She kept her hand stretched out. I smiled and shook her with my dirty hand. Then I thought, “that’s a fresh definition to the word MOTHER.”
There are several more.. This is just one I’m coining from this experience.
A MOTHER IS THAT ONE WHO HOLDS YOUR HANDS EVEN WHEN THEY ARE STAINED AND DIRTY.
